KOSOF for BlackRose is there

KOSOF, information system for an enterprise, using BlackRose architecture , is coming.
KOSOF consists of modules covering all functions of an enterprise. These modules(business logic beans, html files and database tables ) are not in ready to "go into production" form, but because any enterprise is unique, they will be customized , parametrized or modified according to requirenments and needs of the specific customer . It means they form some kind of abstract layer, which should be filled with life according to contract and specification delivered by a customer. Nonetheless the customer obtains at once after signing the contract the opportunity to work with live system, with which he can work or test it. Presentations are also possible with the working system.

Jsp Engine for BlackRose

Encouraged by positive tests with Oracle JSP engine we developed our own native Jsp Engine running in Husar II container. It is clear , that having all components from one vendor is more safe for the customer. Having own Jsp engine makes Husar more independent on any future development of other vendors.
Jsp functionality brings known advantages during development of applications, which can be accomplished in more structured way.

It supports :

  • jdk 1.3/1.3.1
  • JSP 1.1
  • Sun servlet and jsp libraries 2.2
Restrictions :
  • Only the most important jsp tags are supported namely :
    • jsp:useBean
    • jsp:getProperty
    • jsp:setProperty
    • jsp:forward
    • All <% flags and all implicit objects are of course supported
  • Only the precompiled JSP pages are supported (own Jsp preprocessor is available)
The supported grammar will be extended.

Print Control Subsystem for Windows NT 4 workstation

Motivated by the needs of certain department of A.Mickiewicz University in Poznan we developed the print control subsystem for Windows NT 4 Workstation. Imagine , that You want :
  • to monitor which users have printed and how many pages were printed on a printers attached to Your NT workstation.
  • that the system should be under the control of the Administrator, so no user can manipulate the log.
The solution to this problem is offered by our control system.

It is probably interesting for printer hardware manufacturers or distributors. Offers are welcomed. One payment for unlimited number of copies possible.

It supports :

  • Windows NT 4 Workstation
  • Up to 100 printers(local and network ports) in Your computer domain. It was tested with HP DeskJet 690C but no dependency on specific vendor hardware exists.

It consists of :

  • System software, runs as system process
  • System software installer
  • Administrator software
  • Administrator software installer
